Project Fat Ass
12/11 Weight 179 BMI 30.6something — Today I was pedaling the stationary bike and I realized that my stomach no longer hinders the motion of my legs. Don’t get me wrong, I still have a stomach but my thighs no longer hit it when I sit and pedal. In 4 pounds I will be down to my lowest weight in six years. The weight isn’t coming off as quickly as it did 104 days ago, but it is coming off and I’m happy with the rate I’m losing. My body doesn’t feel like the enemy any longer. When I started this program my goal was to get under 200 pounds. I seriously could not see going any lower than maybe 185 and even that seemed like a pipe dream. Today my ultimate goal weight of 150 seems do-able. Go me.
10/29 Weight 187 BMI: 32. something
Workout: Running 1.5 miles~~ I seriously never thought that was a possibility. Me, running. And liking it!!! Holy Shit! I also now like the elliptical machine. Life is weird. When I can’t exercise (like today) I actually miss the heck out of it.
10/14 Weight: 189.6 BMI: 32.37
Workout: I’ve added the dread pirate elliptical machine into the mix. 100 calories paid for in 10 minutes of pain and tears. Egads, do I hate the E.M., but I press on. Upped my run to 1.25.
Victory: People have started noticing!
10/09 Weight: 191 BMI: 32.63
Work out: Running 1 mile daily (12 minutes) along with 20 minutes of walking in my “weight loss zone” on the treadmill.
Victory: Usually when I do any sort of bending thing my fat gets in the way – like I have to squish it one way or the other and it kind of hurts. But 20 pounds later? Not so much! Woo and Hoo!! Well, so much, because hey, still obese. Maybe “not AS much” would be more appropriate. I am curvy – with an actual waist. A big waist, but a waist nonetheless.
10/02 Weight 195 BMI 33.31 My knee is healed. Mostly. I can walk and yesterday I ran a 1.10 miles at the gym. It didn’t suck because I was able to listen to my music. Thank you Billy Idol. You and I rocked the cradle of love, danced with ourselves and then had a white wedding. Unfortunately for you Billy JOEL invited me out to an Italian Restaurant for the last part of my run. Why don’t you ever take me anywhere niiiice Idol???
9/26 Weight 196 BMI 33.61 The knee is almost healed. I’m giving it the weekend and then it’s slowly back to the races! Woot!!!
9/19 Weight 198 BMI 33.84 Hobbling along like a victim of Tonja Harding-Gah-lool-lee must burn up an ass ton of calories. I’m staying on top of my diet since the exercise thing isn’t compatible with the crying out in pain each time I move my knee thing. Lots of veggies and proteins. No soda. I’ve been doing this almost 3 weeks and it doesn’t suck as bad as I’d feared.
9/14 Weight 200 BMI 34.something lower than before. I am no longer #1 at EVERYTHING on Wii Fit due to my unfortunate knee incident. Still, as far as diet is concerned, I’m staying the course. *sigh*
9/11 Weight 201 BMI 34.something.
9/8 Weight 203 BMI: 34.83 I totally knocked out Jack’s boxing score. Who’s number 1? Oh yeah, that’d be ME.
9/5 Weight:205 Wii Fit Age:32 BMI: 35.15 It’s still fun and I kick ass at soccer and downhill skiing! I’m also doing 10 minutes of freestep aerobics – I’m up to 1001 steps! Dude! Seriously. I rock!
9/1 Weight: 209 Wii Fit Age:34 BMI: 36
8/31 35 minutes: yoga, balance, hula hooping, and running. Lots of in place running. It doesn’t suck yet.
8/30- Weight: 211 BMI: 36
Workout: 1/2 hour: yoga, balance (hula hooping and such), running, more hula hooping.
Less this:
and (sadly) More this: No. That’s not me. But it could be.

OMG! Funny! I’ll make sure no media is around when “Santa” brings our Wii & Wii Fit. Makes me shudder just thinking about it. I’m so happy for you, keep it going! Love the new digs here at Cacklin Rose! Hugs to all of you.
